We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide nursing assistance and patient care, ensuring the comfort, safety, and personal needs of our patients. This role involves floating to various offices within the Northside Network, offering the opportunity to gain experience across different specialties and grow professionally. Candidates should be comfortable floating within a 30-mile radius of Northside Hospital Atlanta.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
• Perform a variety of patient care duties as delegated by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
• Float to different practices within the network, gaining diverse experience.

Qualifications

Required:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred:

1. Listed on the Georgia Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
2. Two (2) years of experience as a Patient Care Technician.
3. Six (6) months of experience as a Patient Care Technician at Northside Hospital.
4. Visual color acuity, depending on the specific role and unit.
