Banner Staffing Services-AZ in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant for day shifts to support East Valley Gastroenterology. You will assist clinicians, record vitals, perform basic procedures, and help manage patient flow in a busy clinic.

The role requires completion of an approved MA program and active MA certification, BLS, and strong computer skills. This position offers registry/per diem opportunities with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and completion of an approved medical assistant program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification and BLS required.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with medical software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam and document vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with exams and minor in-office procedures including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinate care with referrals, authorizations, and scheduling; document test results.
• Provide clerical support and ensure accurate billing information.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and manage supplies.
