Job summary

Great Lakes Bay Health Centers is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to support patient care in our clinical team. You will prepare patients, document vitals, assist providers, administer immunizations, and perform CLIA-waived tests per protocol.

Ideal candidates maintain BLS certification, complete an MA program, and can work flexible full-time or part-time shifts with strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of Medical Assistant program.
• Licensure: BLS certification required.
• Experience: None required.
• Skills: Telephone and computer skills; flexible in assignments.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients, records vitals and intake in EHR.
• Assists providers with exams and procedures.
• Performs CLIA-waived tests and administers immunizations per protocol.
• Maintains infection control and patient privacy.
