Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to support patient care in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include rooming patients, vitals, documenting in the EHR, and assisting with exams and procedures. Qualifications

• Education: Medical Assistant program with clinic procedures training.
• Licensure: BLS certification required.
• Experience: None required.
• Skills: Telephone and computer skills, flexible in assignments.
• Interpersonal: Ability to communicate with diverse patient population.
• Physical: Able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lb.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients in a respectful, patient-centered manner.
• Obtains and documents vital signs, height, weight and intake information in the EHR.
• Determines and documents reason for visit and updates histories appropriately.
• Performs medication reconciliation per protocol.
• Prepares exam rooms, equipment and supplies prior to provider entry.
• Assists providers with physical exams, minor procedures, wound care, EKG, immunizations.
• Documents all patient care accurately and timely in the EHR.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity throughout the encounter.
• Participates in care coordination and team communication.
