Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred (urgent care or ER a plus); willing to train outstanding new graduates.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring comfort and information.
• Perform triage and take vital signs accurately.
• Obtain and document patient history in EMR (EPIC preferred) in a timely manner.
• Collect routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs).
• Administer medications and injections (including IM, subcutaneous, intradermal).
• Start IVs, place catheters, and perform splinting as needed.
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screening, audiograms, etc.).
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance; support administrative duties and office equipment.
