Piedmont Urgent Care seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced clinical team in Georgia. You will assist with patient prep, triage, vital signs, and EMR documentation, while collecting specimens and supporting a wide range of procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in urgent care or ER, proficiency in venipuncture and injections, and familiarity with EPIC EMR. This on-site role offers stability, growth opportunities, and a strong team environment.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant (urgent care or ER a plus).
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Perform triage and measure vital signs.
• Document patient history in EMR in a timely manner.
• Collect routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs).
• Administer medications and non-intravenous injections (IM/SC/ID).
• Start IVs, place catheters, and perform splinting as needed.
• Perform basic clinical, aseptic and lab procedures.
• Assist with Occupational Medicine services (drug screening, audiograms, PFT).
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
• Handle administrative duties and operate medical equipment.
• Support staffing across Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
