Piedmont Urgent Care in Dunwoody, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced clinic. You will prepare patients, take vital signs, perform basic procedures and assist with occupational medicine services.

This full-time position offers 3-day/12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM or 8 AM–8 PM), competitive benefits, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for certification reimbursement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1+ year healthcare experience preferred (urgent care or ER a plus).
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections and clinical procedures.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Perform triage and take vital signs.
• Document patient history in EMR in a timely manner.
• Collect routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs).
• Administer medications and injections.
• Start IVs, place catheters and assist with procedures.
• Support Occupational Medicine services and drug screening.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and complete admin tasks.
