Job summary

You will room patients, take vitals, perform venipuncture, manage flow, schedule appointments, and maintain infection-control standards while supporting providers and team communication.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• Current BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months.
• Minimum one year of medical assistant experience in fast-paced Primary Care or Family Medicine.
• Proficiency in venipuncture/blood draws.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, universal precautions, and proper body mechanics.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting with procedures.
• Performing venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Managing patient flow and supporting efficient clinic operations.
• Scheduling appointments and navigating electronic health records.
• Maintaining exam rooms, stocking supplies, and ensuring infection control standards.
• Supporting providers with in-basket tasks and patient communication.
