Job summary

UC San Diego Health clinic in Bankers Hill seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a fast-paced Primary Care setting under supervision of the clinic manager and licensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, accurate billing, environmental care, equipment and supply management, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary care team. Must have CMA or MA training, BART or BLS with plan to obtain BART within 6 months, and at least 1 year in Primary Care.

Qualifications

• CMA required.
• BART or BLS required with commitment to obtain BART within six months.
• One year experience in a fast-paced Primary Care clinic.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and proper body mechanics.
