Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a professional medical office (podiatry preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with quick changes.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical tasks to support the medical team.
• Obtains and confirms prior authorizations are on record.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms, sterilizes instruments, and sets up for minor procedures.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and manages patient flow.
• Documents patient history and updates charts; communicates with insurers.
• Cross-trained to assist the front desk; uses an EMR system.
