Job summary

Concentra, Inc in Burlington, NJ is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to support the patient care team. You will perform routine medical tasks, assist with examinations, and handle front/back office duties in a fast-paced center.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, HIPAA compliance, and delivering a high-quality patient experience under supervision. Prior MA externship or 1+ year experience is desirable, with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Six months or more of medical assistant experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Occupational medicine knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug/alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for examinations and take vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Front and back office duties: check-in/out, scheduling, and record keeping.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
