The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1+ year clinical experience, and CMA/RMA certification preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome, room, and prepare patients for exams and in-office procedures.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, document in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures, post-op care, and X-rays.
• Apply dressings, provide patient instructions and education.
• Manage lab specimens, insurance verifications, and pre-authorizations.
• Process prescriptions as directed and answer patient questions.
• Open, prep, clean, and close exam rooms; sterilize instruments and manage supplies.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and support back-office operations.
