Qualifications

• Banner-approved medical assistant training program completing state requirements.
• Active Medical Assistant certification required (RMA, CMA, CCMA or NCMA).
• BLS certification required on hire; strong computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; multitasking capability.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with exams and minor procedures; take vital signs and record findings.
• Coordinate patient care including referrals, scheduling, and test result communication.
• Provide clerical support and ensure complete, accurate medical records for billing.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe clinical environment per protocols.
• Work under supervision of providers and participate in onboarding simulations.
