Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clerical, clinical, and business tasks under supervision. The role requires high school education and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or completion of a formal training program, with BLS within 6 months. Typical shift is Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., at 21 Hampton Road, Exeter NH. You will perform clinical duties, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification/registration required or within 6 months of hire (or credentialed through formal training).
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work, obtaining vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assisting providers with examinations/procedures.
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization; ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Respond to patient portal messages the same day following standard procedures.
• Complete pre-visit work, close gaps in care, administer vaccines, and fill prescriptions.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing; follow-up calls after surgery.
• Handle daily administrative duties: greeting, scheduling, phones, filing, and chart organization.
• Adhere to policies, confidentiality, QA, safety, infection control; participate in daily huddle.
• May scribe and document encounters; order labs and referrals as directed.
• Monitor care team metrics to evaluate improvements.
• Provide coverage for other Core Offices as needed.
