Job summary

The Vancouver Clinic is hiring for a Family Medicine Medical Assistant at the 87th Ave location in Vancouver, WA. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with four 10-hour shifts and Thursdays off; no nights or weekends. You will room patients, collect information, and prepare patients for examination, while assisting with overall patient care.

Onsite training is provided to obtain the WA State MA-R credential. EMT or CNA are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program.
• Must obtain WA State MA credential within required timeframe and maintain active status.
• Current healthcare provider BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect basic information.

Join the Family Medicine team at our 87th Ave location! Schedule: M-F, four 10-hour shifts with Thursdays off. No nights, no weekends! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assist with overall delivery of patient care, and receive additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. *EMT and CNA welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain WA State MA-R credential Pay range: starts at $20.59/hour, actual rate commensurate with experience and licensure/certifications.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/wk. M-W & F, 6:45am-5:15pm. Four 10-hours shifts with 30 min lunch, with Thursdays off. Location: 87th Ave Clinic, 700 NE 87th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98664

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent Required completion of one of the following: Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment. Current healthcare provider BLS required Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. Pay Range: $21.81 - $30.53
