Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant-Certified for our 87th Ave location to support the Internal Medicine team. Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting information, preparing for exams, and assisting with procedures and overall patient care delivery.

Pay starts at $22.25/hour with a Washington MA-Certified credential and may increase with experience. A $2,500 hire bonus is available for eligible new hires; benefits vary by position and FTE.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.).
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential OR ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Current healthcare provider BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients for visits and record vital information.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with procedures.
• Assist with overall delivery of patient care and rooming workflow.

$2,500 Hire Bonus Available Join the Internal Medicine team as a WA State Medical Assistant-Certified at our 87th Ave. location! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Pay range starts at $22.25/hour with an active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential and goes up based on experience.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.) Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Current healthcare provider BLS required.

Additional Information: Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Bonus awarded is prorated by FTE and subject to repayment terms and applicable tax withholding. Eligible new hires only.
