Job summary

Providence Express Care LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and advanced providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist with exams, administer medications, obtain vital signs, perform tests, and manage front desk tasks including patient registration and billing.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited program, Washington MA certification on hire, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training or equivalent.
• Washington MA certification required on hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year MA experience with vitals, injections, and meds.
• Healthcare experience and MA experience totaling at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures and perform tests under supervision.

Job description

Certified Medical Assistant works closely with a team of staff including physicians and advanced level providers to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care. MA duties include assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests under the supervision of a licensed medical provider. The MA is also responsible for front desk, patient registration, insurance billing and payment collection/cashiering in addition to their patient care responsibilities. Actively supports and incorporates the mission and core values into daily activities. Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or
• Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or
• Coursework/Training: Minimum oneyear of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 6 months of Healthcare experience
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
