Aultman Health Foundation in North Canton, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Endocrinology clinic. The role supports physicians and staff, handles patient check-ins, vitals, and scheduling for tests and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have an approved Medical Assisting program, obtain CMA/CCMA/RMA certification within 90 days, and maintain BLS through RQI, with TB/OSHA/HIPAA training. This is a full-time, day-shift position with potential sign-on bonus.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assisting Program.
• Certification within 90 days: CCMA, CMA, or RMA.
• BLS training per AHA with RQI.
• Annual TB testing, OSHA and HIPAA training.

Responsabilidades

• Check physician schedules for add-ons or updates.
• Review patient records prior to visit for completeness and test results.
• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and current medications.
• Refill prescriptions according to policy.
• Arrange tests and hospital procedures; obtain necessary authorizations.
• Complete forms and route billing information accurately.
• Release medical records per office procedures.
• Educate patients on tests and medications ordered.
• Return patient calls by end of day.
• Notify physician of abnormal lab results.
• Restock and clean exam rooms after use.
• Document accurately in the EHR and communicate with physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
