Central Ohio Primary Care in Westerville, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The role includes escorting patients, recording histories, taking vitals, and performing routine procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a Medical Assistant program graduate with strong clinical and computer skills, and a commitment to patient education and care-gap closures. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position located in Westerville.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• Basic knowledge of immunizations, medications, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems preferred.
• Must have proficient computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Escorting patients to exam rooms.
• Recording patient medical, social and family history.
• Measuring patient vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).
• Completing blood draws and injections for patients.
• Completing EKG's for patients.
• Assisting with front office duties.
• Assisting with educating patient on care-gap closures.
• Other duties as assigned.
