Job summary
Brio Living Services in Holland, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Participant Care team across the adult day center, outpatient clinic, participant homes, and long-term care settings. You will provide clinical support, help manage patient flow, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care for adults 55 and older enrolled in PACE.
The role requires Michigan MA certification, phlebotomy experience, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Qualifications
- Current Michigan Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.
- Experience with phlebotomy preferred.
- At least 1 year working with frail elderly or long-term care population preferred.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, and providers to meet patient care needs.
- Take histories, obtain vital signs, and room patients for examinations.
- Collect lab specimens and assist with minor procedures.
- Assist with EKGs, ear flushes, and hearing screens as needed.
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
