Job summary

Volunteers of America’s Senior Community Care of Michigan - PACE is hiring Clinic Support in Lansing, MI. The role involves administrative and limited clinical duties under the Clinic Manager, including preparing exam rooms, recording vitals, and coordinating appointments.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with compensation in the $18.80–$20.67 per hour range. Benefits include retirement plan, training, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved training program in Medical Assisting or Certified Nurse’s Aide.
• Minimum of one-year experience working with a frail or elderly population.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and means of transportation.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.
• Prepare exam rooms and greet/check in patients; assist provider during visits.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and medical histories.
• Prepare exam rooms and patients for clinic appointments.
• Provide medical treatments within scope of practice as directed.
• Coordinate scheduling of outside specialty appointments and transportation.
• Assist Primary Care Provider with examinations and treatments.
