Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active certified MA credentials or eligibility required with plan to obtain CMA/CCMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA within six months of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification required or must be obtained before or within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow by escorting patients, taking vitals, updating medical history, and preparing exam rooms.
• Assist with medical and minor surgical procedures as directed (ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection).
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; disinfect/sterilize equipment; manage inventory and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care team to support patient satisfaction and safety.
• Perform delegated duties and support supervisors as needed.
