The Driver transports visitors and documents, ensuring respectful and quality customer service. The Medical Support Specialist (MSS) performs routine medical and testing procedures under direct supervision and supports various facility operations including registration and referral management. This role emphasizes efficient, accurate patient care and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

1. Drive motor vehicle to transport personnel, visitors, or documents, ensuring safety and courtesy.
2. Report issues or delays to the supervisor.
3. Perform errands such as mailing tasks and vehicle maintenance.
4. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, record mileage, and complete vehicle checklists.
5. Assist with clinical tasks including patient preparation, vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting providers during examinations.
6. Perform routine medical procedures and triage as needed.
7. Dispense medications and medical supplies following regulations.
8. Maintain medical equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of the facility.
9. Support patient flow and communication, ensuring accurate documentation and confidentiality.
10. Handle front office duties such as greeting patients, check-in/out, and answering calls.
11. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, meeting state licensing requirements.
• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution or Military Medical Specialist credentials, in accordance with state regulations.
