St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Medical Assistant for Edgewood Primary Care to support physicians and mid-level providers. You will assist with patient care, document vital signs, perform routine nursing procedures, and ensure compliance with OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA regulations.

The role emphasizes patient instructions and efficient clinic operations. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and experience or training in MA duties.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, document information in chart.
• Document patient history in chart.
• Provide clear directions to patient and address concerns about the exam.
• Prepare patient for exam and assist providers during examinations.
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision of providers.
• Collect lab specimens and perform basic tests.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain logs and checks (temps, meds, etc.).
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance and revenue cycle paperwork.
