Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an ACCREDITED Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA or RMA certification per state requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of active MA experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Take and document vitals, histories, and intake information.
• Perform specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Administer routine medications as allowed by policy.
• Maintain accurate health records in EHR/EMR.
• Coordinate patient appointments and care as directed.
