Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Assistant in Owasso, OK. The role supports both clinical and administrative duties within a clinic setting, under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (GED acceptable), EMR and MS Office familiarity, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree and CMA/RMA certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and report patient history and claims in EMR.
• Greet patients, escort to exam room, and take vital signs as needed.
• Sterilize and prepare medical instruments; ensure exam rooms are clean and ready.
• Assist in inventory control and stocking supplies; process referrals and insurance authorizations.
