Job summary

NRI, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Department of Corrections in Washington, DC. This role supports healthcare services in a correctional setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekends.

Shifts are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a pay rate of $30.00 per hour. Paid orientation and comprehensive training are provided to help you adapt quickly. A background check is required, and phlebotomy skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy skills required (must be able to draw blood).
• Certifications & Immunizations required: Medical Assistant Certification, CPR, COVID vaccine + booster, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Flu shot, PPD.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
