Job summary

NRI, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Department of Corrections in Washington, DC. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with availability for one or two weekends per month, and shifts from 7 AM–3 PM or 3 PM–11 PM.

Pay is $30.00 per hour with paid orientation and training provided. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience, be able to perform phlebotomy, pass a background check, and hold MA certification and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (Psychiatric experience is a plus).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Phlebotomy skills required (must be able to draw blood).
• Must pass a background check.
• Certifications & Immunizations Required: Medical Assistant Certification, CPR Certification, COVID vaccine + booster, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Flu shot, PPD.
