AHN is seeking a Medical Assistant I to join our Chippewa Township Medical Neighborhood team. You will perform standard medical assistant duties and supportive testing under supervision, helping coordinate patient care during daytime clinic hours.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain urine drug testing certification within six months. Clearances must be completed within 90 days of hire.

Clinic Location: Chippewa Township Medical Neighborhood ~May work in other HV CC clinic locations prn for staffing needs.
Work Hours: Rotating schedule of 12 hour shifts (Mon-Fri) and 8 hours (Sat/Sun) during regular clinic business hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Medical Assistant I provides selective medical services including standard medical assistant responsibilities as well as specialized testing under the direction of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physician, to coordinate medical service needs of the patients served.
High School graduate or equivalent. CPR certification. Certification in urine drug testing – must obtain within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Associate degree program; Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, or NCCT NCMA), minimum of one year medical assisting; Computer experience.
