Job summary

VIP Rheumatology in Mt. Laurel, NJ seeks a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by organizing charts, pulling notes, and supporting nurses and clinicians during exams. You’ll help manage tests, lab reporting, and keep patients informed about their care.

You’ll also handle inventory, set up equipment, and clean instruments and rooms. Ideal candidates have strong customer service, attention to detail, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA preferred
• Customer service oriented
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
