Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0–1 year related work experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Basic proficiency in computer use.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient; maintains efficient patient flow.
• Reviews and updates patient information; documents vitals and allergies in EHR.
• Schedules appointments and manages messages per guidelines.
• Stocks examination rooms and assists with ordering supplies.
• Assists in transition of care and communicates with supervisors.
