An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their Community Medicine Clinic. This role is pivotal in providing clinical support and ensuring a smooth patient experience. You will be responsible for preparing patients for visits, maintaining electronic health records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. This position can be a 32-hour a week position or a 40-hour a week position depending on your preference.

Practice Overview
The Community Medicine Clinic is in the heart of downtown and we serve the community, we have dedicated Physicians and APP’s that are committed to providing comprehensive care for our patients. We are a safe and affirming clinic, we take immense pride in the strong relationships we build with our patients, their families, and our colleagues, fostering a supportive and compassionate environment. We have so many resources in the building for patients, including a pharmacist, community health workers, population health nurse, RN case managers, nurse triage, physical therapy, and behavioral health services. We also have a food and clothing pantry for our patients that have any social determinant needs that keep them from focusing on their health. We offer lab services to our established patients at the clinic.
Our support staff is composed of registered nurses (RNs), medical assistants/ambulatory clinical technicians (MA/ACTs), ambulatory clinical clerical technicians (ACCTs), and patient service representatives (PSRs). Each member of our team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and the delivery of high-quality care.
MAs assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting in procedures. Candidates for this position should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing high-quality patient care.
