Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic EMR and MS Office skills.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of start date.
• Preferred: Associate degree or completion of accredited MA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and administrative support in a clinic-based setting as part of a care team led by physician/APP.
• Enter, maintain, and report medical history and charges using EMR.
• Greet patients, escort to exam rooms, take vital signs and assist with treatment as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and keep exam rooms clean, organized, and safe.
• Manage inventory and stock supplies for exam rooms; process referrals and insurance authorizations.
