Sign-On Bonuses for Medical Assistants (Limited Time Offer)
  • $4,000 for candidates with 0-1 years of experience (full-time)
  • $5,000 for candidates with 1+ years of experience (full-time)

Bonus eligibility details:

  • Hired into a Full or Part-time MA position (bonus prorated for part-time; per diem ineligible)

Summary - Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant (MA) performs duties related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment, ensuring smooth patient flow. The MA functions under the license of the physician/advanced practice practitioner when performing clinical and patient care responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following: graduate from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience, or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program with 6 months of clinical experience, or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice (evaluated case-by-case).
  2. License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within one year of eligibility. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. NH Med Tech License or NH EMT/National Registry EMT license required for positions in New Hampshire.
  3. Experience: One year as a Medical Assistant or 6 months with certification.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements: Not specified.
Summary - Clinical Team Assistant

The Clinical Team Assistant supports daily patient services to assist the clinical team in delivering care. Functions under the license of a provider when performing clinical and patient care duties.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited health sciences program or student in a relevant program with clinical experience, or completion of an MA or healthcare vocational program with patient-facing components. CTA apprentice program or equivalent experience evaluated case-by-case.
  2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification within three months of hire required.
  3. Experience: Not applicable.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements: Not specified.
