Responsibilities include greeting patients, recording information, assisting clinicians, managing charts, and coordinating scheduling and communications. A high school diploma plus relevant medical assisting training is preferred; EHR

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred.
  • Prior clinical or medical office experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology, procedures, and administrative workflows.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and patient confidentiality.
  • Comfort with electronic health records and common office software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Certification or registration may be preferred depending on location and employer requirements.

  • Respond to patient questions with professionalism and escalation as needed.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist with additional duties as needed.
