Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Federal Way Medical Clinic. Ideal candidates will provide excellent customer service, maintain a professional demeanor, and handle multiple tasks efficiently to support patient care.

Requirements include WA MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License and BLS CPR within 90 days. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred to assist diverse patients at Sea Mar.

Qualifications

• Must have a Washington State MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License and pass exam within 90-day probationary period.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
• EPIC experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients.
• Complete all provider referrals for each patient.
• Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physicians’ orders; perform venipuncture.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients
• Complete all provider referrals for each patient
• Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physicians’ order; perform venipuncture
• Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination
