Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Everson, WA is hiring an On-call Medical Assistant for our Everson Medical Clinic, with occasional shifts at the Bellingham Clinic. The MA will support patient flow and provide quality care by following protocol in rooming, administering injections, venipuncture, and completing referrals.

Candidates must hold a WA MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License, obtain BLS CPR within 90 days, and bilingual English/Spanish or English/Punjabi is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Washington State MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License and pass the exam within the 90-day probationary period.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Punjabi preferred

• Complete all provider referrals for each patient
• Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physicians’ order; perform venipuncture
• Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensure communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination

On-call Medical Assistant position available for our Everson Medical Clinic. Applicant will also work some shifts at our Bellingham Medical Clinic. The ideal candidates will have proven excellent customer services skills, demonstrate an enthusiastic & professional demeanor, and excel at multi-tasking. Medical Assistants are an integral part of the care team; ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.
