OSUP Community Medical Group is hiring Medical Assistants to support direct patient care and routine procedures in a caring, collaborative environment. You will assist clinicians, monitor vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and handle routine lab work in accordance with clinical protocols.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least one listed option.
• Diploma from a Medical Assistant Program is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year medical assisting experience required.
• Military Medic or EMT-P training acceptable.
• Combination of 1 year education and experience also acceptable.

Mansioni

• Room patients, record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Complete patient interview and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations, tests and treatments; assist as ordered.
• Assist in examinations and carry out treatments and tests as directed.
• Set up equipment and prepare treatment rooms for patients.
• Collect samples (blood, urine, sputum) and perform routine lab tests.
• Manage medical office inbox and ensure timely communication with patients & staff.
• Oversee reception of incoming patient information for healthcare providers.

Formazione

Medical Assistant Program Diploma

1 year medical assisting experience

Military Medic training

EMT-P (Paramedic) training

1 year combined education & experience
