TriState Health in Clarkston, WA seeks a Behavioral Health Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinicians in coordinating patient care for new and established patients. The role includes managing patient flow, documentation, and occasional vital signs, while serving as a link between patients and providers.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, WA M.A. certification, and BLS/CPR certification.

• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification or within orientation period.

Job Summary

Education And Training

• High School graduate or GED equivalent is required.

Licensures/ Certifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant - Certified.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR, certification card on hire or within orientation period.

Experience

• The candidate must have minimum of one year of experience in a physician office, hospital or ambulatory care facility; behavioral health setting is preferred.
• Must have a pleasant personality and experience dealing with the public and patients with special needs.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude and ability to organize information for quick retrieval is required.
• Preference with experience in deescalating patients in crisis.

Skills And Abilities

• Computer skills, medical terminology, and experience with office assessments necessary.
