Job summary

Baptist Health’s Nassau office in Fernandina Beach, FL is hiring a Medical Assistant to support back-office duties such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals and assisting the provider.

The role requires 2+ years of patient care experience and experience in a physician's office. A High School Diploma/GED is required, with an Associate degree preferred; BLS is required and CMA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physician.
• Obtains patient vital signs.

• Processes prescription requests and referrals.

The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting provider.
