Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant for the Baptist Heart Specialists office. The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting physicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Experience with back-office duties, EKGs, and medical documentation is valued. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, downtown Howard Building location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS may be required; CMA preferred.
• Experience in medical office settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physician.
• Obtains vital signs.
• Greets and chaperones patients during visits.
• Maintains medical documentation.
• Schedules care, tests and referrals per physician.
• Processes prescription requests and referrals.
