Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Seven Pines Primary Care office near Butler Boulevard and I-295 east of the St. Johns Town Center. This full-time role supports back-office duties and patient flow.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of patient care experience, familiarity with physician offices, and BLS. A High School Diploma/GED is required; an AA/AS is preferred and CMA certification is a plus. Bilingual-Spanish is a huge plus but not required.

• Associate of Arts/Science preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to our NEW Seven Pines Primary Care office located near Butler Boulevard and I295 east of the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a Full-Time opportunity working from 8:00A-5:00P.

The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider. Bilingual-Spanish is a huge plus but not required.
