Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona, CA seeks a Medical Assistant to provide back office support, chart patients, and assist physicians. You will handle triage, vital signs, and discharge instructions, and update charts in the EMR while enabling smooth clinic operations.

The role requires a Medical Assistant program completion, a high school diploma, and BLS. Experience in physicians’ offices and customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS certification.
• Two or more years in the medical field with direct patient care experience.

Responsabilités

• Chart patient’s chief complaint and assist physicians and clerical staff.
• Take vital signs and assist with obstetrical history as needed.
• Complete EMR orders and submit to Superbill; handle patient check-in/out and documentation.
