Job summary

Qualifications

• A medical assistant diploma or certificate as follows.
• Documentation of completing a medical assistant program from a school accredited by ASSCS, ACCET, CAAHEP or ABHES or national certification CMA/NCCT/AMT.
• Demonstrated training in injections, venipuncture and related procedures, incl. 10 hours of various injections and skin tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the ambulatory setting, recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms and assisting during life-threatening emergencies.
• Perform basic administrative, clerical and technical supportive services as needed.
