Job summary

Lifekind Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Mesa clinic to handle administrative and clinical tasks within Medical Team Units led by MD/APP. The role supports efficient documentation and workflow in back-office operations to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of related experience and BLS/CPR certification; Medical Scribe experience is a plus. Schedule is 5 days/week with weekend coverage required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required.
• 4+ years of related experience preferred.
• Medical Scribe experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts prior to encounters by uploading orders and referrals.
• Collect and document vital signs, urine drug screen, and initial screening information.
• Document encounters in health record systems with Dx, Hx, care plan, billing info, etc.
• Administer and process consent forms and patient questionnaires.
• Document injection consents, prep and assist with injections.
• Assist with scheduling, confirmations, and medical records requests.
• Assist with writing and transferring orders and processing imaging orders.
• Process lab orders and complete forms for procedures.
• Update Excel spreadsheets for advanced procedure prep and clearance.
• Schedule Interventional Pain procedures at Lifekind Surgical Center.
