Job summary

PDS Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and APRNs with patient care, clerical tasks, data entry, and EMR charting. You will prep patients, record histories and vitals, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

Duties include injections, phlebotomy, lab handling, referrals, and pre-authorizations. Strong communication and organization are essential. Requires MA/BLS/CPR, and at least one year of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• Current MA/BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one-year experience in a medical office setting as a medical assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience required minimum of one-year experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient intake and prepare them for examination.
• Document patient data and vitals in the EMR.
• Assist with injections, splints, dressings, and wound care as ordered.
• Process referrals, authorizations, and lab orders.
• Provide excellent patient service and education throughout the visit.
