Panoramic Health is seeking a Medical Assistant - Roomer to support healthcare professionals by recording medical histories, scheduling appointments, and assisting with exams. You will also help stock supplies, manage the medication closet, and prepare patients for testing, while ensuring timely communication of results to patients and providers.

The role emphasizes patient service, confidentiality, and teamwork, with opportunities to train junior staff and streamline office processes.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting certification program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years; combined education/experience can substitute for minimum experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provides general back-office support to physicians.
• Assist provider with exams as needed.
• Stock and monitor inventory levels of medical supplies.
• Monitors and maintains medication sample closet.
• Prepares and assists patients for testing; obtain results as requested; obtain lab results and notify patient as instructed by physician.
• Answers patient calls and respond promptly and professionally.
• Responsible for final review of chart after chart prep.
• Train back-office staff as needed when requested by Office Administrator.
• Responds and complies with requests for information via fax or other methods.
• Complete all requests within timeframes as established by office policy.
• Follow confidentiality rules for patient information.
• Deliver information to patient care or other designated areas including provider offices.
• Complete the referral process on specific procedures as requested by Office Administrator.
• Provide leadership and guidance for excellent customer service.
• Communicate and engage effectively with others.
• Continually learn, share knowledge, and develop processes for information transfer.
• Follow and maintain office policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, or requested.
• Fill in when the office is short-staffed.
