Job summary

Neighborcare Health is offering a Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program with paid training and tuition support. The role includes 2,000 hours of on-the-job clinical practice and classroom training to earn MA-C in WA state.

You will work under supervision across multiple clinic sites, supporting providers and patients while completing required coursework and certification expenses. This entry-level program prepares you for a certified medical assistant career in our Seattle area clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Medical Assistant-Registered status or MA-C certification within designated time frame is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend 288 hours of classroom and lab sessions for apprenticeship training.
• Complete 2000 hours of on-the-job training in the clinic.
• Maintain an 80% or greater grade during classroom and lab sessions.
• Support patient care and assist providers during procedures when appropriate.
• Handle clerical duties such as scheduling, check-in, and medical record maintenance.
