Overlake Clinics in Bellevue, WA offers a paid Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program starting Oct 2026. The 12-month, full-time program trains you to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) with on-the-job training and online coursework, while earning a paycheck and full benefits.

The program requires a 3-year commitment (1 year in the program and 2 years as a MA in clinic). Upon completion, you advance to a full-time MA with Overlake Clinics and may obtain MA-C and CCMA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Health Provider CPR certification and First Aid training required prior to start date.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
• Preference to those with past healthcare and/or customer service experience and demonstrated commitment to completing goals.
• 3 year commitment required.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with scheduled visits and lab/immunization visits under PCP supervision.
• Greet and escort patients from the lobby to the front desk area.
• Collect health information and document data in the Epic EMR; perform POCT per protocol.
• Assist with in-office procedures and phlebotomy; prepare lab specimens for processing.
