Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role at the Glenview Multi Specialty clinic. The position runs Monday through Friday with an hourly wage range of $19.13–$25.83.

Responsibilities include supporting physicians and nurses, managing patient flow, preparing rooms, and performing basic clinical tasks such as ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived tests. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certification in one of AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NRCMA; eligibility within 6 months for exam completion.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• 0–2 years of experience in a relevant role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow and prepare exam rooms; obtain vital signs and document visit details.
• Assist with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived testing as directed by Provider.
• Maintain inventory and disinfection of rooms; stock supplies and dispose of expired items.
• Interact professionally with patients and care team; participate in staff meetings.
